As the Rainforest to Flowers book was distributed to visiting dignitaries, interest from Holland was generated to collaborate with farm projects in Indonesia. Major contracts were signed with Asian hotels and other large consumers of cut flowers in the region. Ten years later, the cut flower industry is booming. Rainforests to Flowers earned a national award for Innovative Tactics.

Fresh Wood is a key element in convincing educators and legislators in the USA of the viability of woodworking trade programs in their districts.

Students view woodworking in a new light and are seeking state-of-the-art training, giving the industry highly skilled workers to respond to changing industry demands.

Chakra Gardens book orders from both past and current guests at the retreat will sell out the first printing completely.   Proceeds from those sales will provide an endowment for Quechua children's needs.  The book will be marketed to affiliated audiences to provide wider visibility of the retreat and its extraordinary gardens.
