Each year, Smith Asbury Inc. creates a Chinese New Year card, illustrated by the talented artist, Corinne Cortinas with text written by Judy Smith Asbury. The tradition started one year as a result of our inability to create a holiday card at year-end because we were too busy meeting client deadlines.
We found that this was a perfect time to send a greeting. Chinese New Year generally falls at the end of January or beginning of February and doesn’t compete for attention with the dozens of cards we receive at the holidays. It’s a fun way to say hello to all our friends and colleagues.
The card also represents our ties to Asia with our extensive work in Indonesia and Judy’s background in East Asian Studies.
